Keasbey, NJ, February 04, 2014 – ShopRite has introduced a new and convenient way to shop with the new ShopRite Mobile Scan app. With the introduction like this new pilot program, ShopRite Mobile Scan takes shoppers beyond the established checkout lines and self-checkout lanes, and right form the store aisles.

Not only is the application quick, easy and accessible for customers, it also alerts them to sales in the aisles in which they are shopping and automatically deducts Price Plus Mallet card savings as each entry is scanned. Once their shopping purchases are complete, customers can sync their movable devices to designated self-service pay stations. It’s that easy!

“Our customers can now enjoy the ease from shopping – and checking out – right on their smart phones, with the added convenience of product recommendations. Using their own phones, they can take advantage of ShopRite’s traditional low prices and speed through checkout, making for a quick and easy trip to the supermarket,” said Cheryl Williams, vice president of Digital Commerce and Departure for ShopRite.
